Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle escalated issues from ORAN Tier I, resolving or escalating to ORAN Tier III for critical cases.
- Work with technical teams to document troubleshooting steps and improve processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex RF and RAN system issues with market teams and vendors.
- Lead incident resolution, RCA analysis, and outage handling, including participation in Sev 1 & Sev 2 bridges.
- Monitor RAN performance, analyze health checks, troubleshoot faults, and perform basic parameter audits.
- Create tickets on vendor platforms and provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- BS or MS in Engineering or technical degree with 8+ years of related experience in RAN (Recent Open RAN experience is preferred)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Passion for new technologies in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in radio performance troubleshooting, network audits, KPI analysis, and continuous optimization.
- Deep understanding of 5G/VoLTE/LTE/UMTS/GSM KPIs, ORAN/vRAN architectures, and virtualized RAN functions.
- Experience with RF radio operations, inter-layer traffic balancing, and network-wide performance improvements.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, orchestration, automation, and cloud platforms like AWS and VMware.
- Self-motivated, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $135,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
