The Enterprise Information Technology team at Vestmark is responsible for all IT infrastructure and processes, supporting all departments in the development and enhancement of computer systems, corporate applications, and related business processes. We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team and contribute to a variety of IT-related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation within the infrastructure.
  • Assist project teams with technical issues and implementations.
  • Responsible for installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
  • Perform system builds, upgrades, and optimizations.
  • Manage system backups and perform data restores as required.
  • Administer and support Windows, macOS, and Linux systems across the organization.
  • Active Directory administration, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Perform regular maintenance and administration of Windows-based servers.
  • Provide technical assessments and process documentation.
  • Manage system configuration and software deployment for macOS and Linux devices using tools like JAMF, Munki, or Ansible.
  • Implement patching strategies and endpoint protection across different operating systems.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation for macOS and Linux environments.
  • Provide cross-platform technical support and troubleshooting for users.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and enforce company security policies.
  • Plan and execute projects on-time while learning new businesses and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator (Windows Server 2003/2008/2012).
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration, including scripting and automation with Bash/Python.
  • Experience with managing macOS devices in enterprise environments, including MDM solutions such as JAMF.
  • Understanding of network technology concepts such as email, servers, firewalls, and DNS.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Slack.
  • Knowledge of remote support tools across multiple platforms (TeamViewer, BeyondTrust, etc.).
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), JAMF certification, or Linux-related certifications.

Education:
