The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced sales professional to drive new business in the Nordics, identifying and qualifying target accounts for Cloudflare's Enterprise service plan. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our Sales and Customer Development function.
The ideal candidate will have both a sales and technical background, allowing them to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels-from technical teams to senior leadership.
What You'll Do
As an Account Executive, you'll own the sales process within a defined territory or account list, developing and executing a strategic plan to meet revenue targets. You'll work closely with both technical and non-technical buyers, articulating Cloudflare's value proposition and building long-term relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and executing a strategic account plan.
- Engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating Cloudflare's value.
- Managing contract negotiations and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
- Cultivating long-term partnerships with key accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Traveling up to 25% as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Danish; proficiency in another Nordic language is a plus.
- At least six years of direct B2B sales experience with large enterprises.
- Strong understanding of computer networks and internet infrastructure.
- Ability to quickly learn technical concepts; a background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
