The Monthly Incentive Compensation team develops and monitors hourly incentive compensation plans, within our operational teams, consistent with our company philosophy and guiding principles.


 

Outcomes and Activities:

  • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership on a quarterly basis to set incentive plan thresholds and payout amounts that are consistent with the company compensation philosophy and monthly compensation guiding principles
  • Forecast incentive plan drivers/attributes by analyzing historical results and determine the impact that any changes in Company strategies might have on the forecasted incentive plan performance
  • Provide monthly incentive plan reporting/tracking by agreed upon due dates
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement within incentive plans and forecasting models
  • Review incentive plan results regularly and investigate the drivers of any variances to forecast
  • Assist in the completion of monthly actuals to forecast reporting by the 5th business day each month
  • Ad Hoc Requests/Special Projects - provide moderate to complex ad hoc financial analysis as required by the business owners

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization
  • Ability to write clear and concise variance explanation notes
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests
  • Demonstrate initiative by being proactive in work duties and making recommendations as opportunities arise
  • Be organized and capable of meeting all deadlines
  • Be self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision
  • Possess high level of accuracy, attention to detail, strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Be receptive to ongoing feedback aimed at improving your overall performance


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, or related field preferred)
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Excel
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an analyst role
  • Experience presenting to and communicating with Senior Management
  • Experience analyzing data patterns and trends, with a focus on creating forecasts and operational models/analysis. 

Targeted Compensation: $94,600 - $110,360 base salary + an annual bonus plan

This position is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b / H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.
