Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide key financial support to a manufacturing facility, including daily and weekly financial analyses as well as monthly forecasting and reporting. The role will also involve supporting the annual budget process and monthly internal control testing and compliance. Additionally, there will be a requirement to provide regular support to the location team in managing spend commitments and driving business decisions. A process-improvement mindset is essential to support the significant growth of the facility in the coming years.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly financial forecasts, weekly projections, financial and operational results analysis, monthly account reconciliations, inventory analyses, and spend reduction activities.
  • Perform self-assessment audits as well as ensure SOX compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Review, analyze, and report monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses.
  • Assist internal and external auditors as required.
  • Provide management with appropriate reports to aid decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end close activities.
  • Develop process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the finance team where appropriate.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant financial experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
