We just completed our Series B financing round, and we are looking to expand our team. 

About the Role: 

As a Senior Marketing Writer at Litmus, you will be a key storyteller, responsible for developing engaging and informative content across a variety of marketing channels. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand our target audience, product features, and marketing objectives, translating them into impactful written materials that resonate with our customers and prospects. 

Responsibilities: 

• Create compelling and persuasive marketing copy for a wide range of materials, including website content, blog posts, case studies, white papers, ebooks, email campaigns, social media posts, sales collateral, video scripts, and more. 

• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all marketing communications. 

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with overall marketing goals and target audience needs. 

• Research industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform content creation. 

• Interview subject matter experts and customers to gather information and develop compelling stories. 

• Edit and proofread all marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness. 

• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and other digital platforms. 

• Work closely with designers and other creatives to ensure visual and written content are aligned. 

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines. 

• Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices. 

• Mentor and guide junior writers, fostering their growth and development. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 

• 5+ years of experience as a Marketing Writer or Content Writer, preferably in the software industry. 

• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing samples and successful marketing campaigns. 

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 

• Deep understanding of marketing principles and best practices. 

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language. 

• Strong research and interviewing skills. 

• Experience with SEO and content optimization. 

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality content. 

• Experience writing for a B2B audience is highly preferred.
