Atlassian is looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to own strategic marketing initiatives as part of the Global Marketing Operations (GMOPs) team. Your role will be to develop and drive the operational strategy and execute against the overall vision of the go-to-market playbook between demand generation, sales and marketing/ sales technology teams. We are looking for someone who loves to connect marketing teams with the process, governance, data, and technology to drive prospect and customer engagement. Utilizing your advanced systems and process experience with enterprise sales and marketing systems, you will develop processes, frameworks and recommendations for translating marketing objectives into actionable campaigns. You will work with world-class sales and marketing teams and new, emerging businesses within Atlassian.
In this role, you will:
- Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Marketing Operations, collaborating with marketing stakeholders to develop and enhance marketing processes across a range of marketing automation tools, Salesforce, and other third-party tools and technologies.
- Partner with our enterprise demand generation team to assist in optimizing their marketing programs to enhance campaign efficiency, improve contact outreach, boost engagement, and maximize effectiveness within target accounts.
- Ensure technical strategies, database hygiene, and audience segmentation are optimized for maximum impact.
- Develop efficient, sustainable, and scalable processes for working within our marketing tech stack, while continuously identifying areas for optimization.
- Uncover opportunities to optimize conversion across the lead generation and sales funnel.
- Establish, maintain, and optimize scalable marketing processes for campaign and lead generation/management.
Your background:
- 5-7 years of experience in a B2B enterprise marketing operations environment; experience and certifications with Marketo (or other enterprise marketing automation systems) highly desirable.
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce reporting and a proficient understanding of the Salesforce CRM architecture.
- Capable of quickly adjusting to new software platforms and utilizing them efficiently to enhance and optimize marketing campaigns and processes.
- Proven experience in process optimization and building efficient workflows within a marketing organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise lead generation standard and advanced methodologies.
- Successful track record of aligning multiple stakeholders within the Marketing organization to establish clear and thorough requirements, without explicit direction from your team.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex processes and data into understandable and actionable insights, as well as translating business plans and objectives into tech requirements.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Highly self-directed and able to balance risks, benefits, and dependencies for operational projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in delving into details to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Proven ability to diagnose and address complex problems, ensuring timely resolutions that meet or exceed SLAs, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and comprehensive materials that enhance knowledge sharing and consistency across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and contribute to the development of new processes, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive successful new product launches.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $135,500 - $180,600
Zone B: $121,900 - $165,200
Zone C: $112,400 - $149,900
