We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to execute brand positioning, content strategy, and marketing initiatives that elevate Blockstream’s global reputation among developers, institutions, financial professionals, and Bitcoin users. This role will be instrumental in developing high-quality, multi-channel campaigns that educate, inform, and inspire audiences across all Blockstream products and solutions.

The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on marketer with expertise in content-driven growth, digital campaigns, and brand building. This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to ensure that Blockstream’s brand narrative is clear, compelling, and impactful.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications and will collaborate closely with the Head of PR, product teams, and business development.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

Brand Growth & Positioning (Institutional & Consumer)

  • Execute marketing initiatives to position Blockstream as the leader in Bitcoin infrastructure and financial technology.
  • Help develop and execute brand campaigns across digital, content, and paid media channels.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across developer, enterprise, and consumer segments, aligning with Blockstream’s branding.

Content & Thought Leadership Development

  • Lead content execution, including blog posts, newsletters, white papers, and social media content.
  • Develop education-first content that resonates with both institutional and retail audiences, explaining Bitcoin infrastructure, financial use cases, and product benefits.
  • Repurpose key insights into high-impact digital assets, including short-form content, visuals, and reports.

Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Manage and optimize multi-channel paid and organic campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Bitcoin media, etc.).
  • Own SEO and performance-driven content marketing to increase search discoverability and organic brand growth.
  • Work with product and business teams to align lead-generation campaigns with growth objectives.
  • Support Bitcoin community engagement efforts to drive user adoption of consumer products.

Market Intelligence & Performance Tracking

  • Track brand awareness, engagement, and campaign performance to refine future initiatives.
  • Report on search trends, audience segmentation, and demand generation metrics.
  • Align with business development and product teams to measure marketing impact on lead generation and revenue growth.

What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications):

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, fintech, Bitcoin, or consumer tech.
  • Experience in multi-audience marketing, engaging both institutional and consumer/retail segments.
  • Strong expertise in content marketing, SEO, paid campaigns, and brand storytelling to drive audience engagement and brand growth.
  • Deep understanding of Bitcoin, self-custody, institutional finance, and fintech trends - you should be able to communicate why Bitcoin matters to different audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical or financial concepts into compelling marketing materials that resonate across different buyer personas.

Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience marketing Bitcoin wallets, financial products, or blockchain infrastructure.
  • Prior work in developer marketing or enterprise fintech marketing.
  • Existing relationships with Bitcoin media, fintech journalists, or financial institutions.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments where speed and adaptability matter.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Blockstream also include benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k) and stock options.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $175,000
