ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton’s Content Department produces classes year round in order to deliver a broad range of highly engaging live and on-demand content to our members. We are a highly collaborative, fast-moving, rapidly growing department.
We’re looking for a hands-on, fitness-forward, and creative Social Content Coordinator to support the daily execution of our social strategy focused on instructors, brand initiatives, and cultural moments. This role will work within the Social Operations unit in collaboration with the Social Creative unit to manage posting schedules, maintain asset accuracy, and support content development from ideation through execution. Project management skills, editorial instincts, and a strong understanding of social audiences and trends are a must.
This role requires someone with direct experience publishing content to brand social accounts - including familiarity with platform specs, formatting copy and assets for each platform, writing captions for various tones, and executing live publishing or scheduling with accuracy.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Manage and update social media profiles across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Schedule and publish content in alignment with the editorial calendar and active campaigns.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update social content calendars in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure consistent posting and asset visibility.
- Assist with the content creation process including copywriting, hashtag research, and asset coordination, ensuring all materials meet brand guidelines and tone.
- Track and report on content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, SocialFlow), and support regular reporting cadences in partnership with strategic teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices that align with the Peloton brand voice and content operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Talent, Programming, Partnerships, and Comms) to gather inputs and ensure accuracy of creative vision and messaging across posts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of content and flag risks related to publishing cadence or production timelines.
- Assist in organizing, tagging, and maintaining asset libraries for reuse and reference across platforms and teams.
- Contribute to caption drafting and voice development, ensuring consistency with Peloton’s tone and community-first approach.
- Support campaign wrap-out efforts by pulling performance metrics and drafting insights summaries when needed.
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- You have 1-2 years experience as a marketing coordinator, production assistant, editorial assistant, community manager, or content creator.
- Experience running or supporting social media accounts; personal, brand, or agency led.
- Demonstrated experience posting to brand accounts with precision - this includes scheduling or live-publishing content with correct copy, specs, and platform formatting.
- Deep understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) and current trends to help guide the creation of relevant content.
- Experience using social publishing or reporting tools such as Google Analytics, SocialFlow, Hootsuite, Dash Hudson, Echo Box, Chartbeat, Sprout Social
- Understanding of social scheduling platforms and how to tactically post on all social platforms
- You have excellent project management skills and can balance multiple projects and prioritize your work
- Strong writing skills with an eye for brand voice, cultural nuance, and community engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with production workflows and/or experience managing assets in tools like Iconik or Frame.io.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. $71,585—$93,061 USD
