Business Unit
The Marketing team at LGT Wealth Management plays a crucial role in defining and shaping our brand, promoting our services and engaging with clients. Our team is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing digital campaigns, creating compelling content, and maintaining our brand presence across various platforms.
Brief Role Objective:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive and highly organised Senior Marketing Manager to take responsibility for the implementation of the marketing plan, alongside the LGT Wealth Management Marketing Team. In particular this role will be responsible for delivering the Scotland and regional marketing strategy and leading on the Charities driven marketing activities. This role is a generalist marketing role, covering all aspects of the marketing mix.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the marketing strategy and brand awareness across Scotland
- Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to deliver the Scotland marketing plan including a mix of events, digital, communications, PR, advertising, sponsorship / partnerships and social.
- Manage the Scotland office relationship with the external PR agency to deliver the Scotland PR plan.
- Work closely with key stakeholders in Scotland.
Take ownership for delivering the regional marketing plan, including building a strong working relationship with all offices (outside London) across the business.
- This will include delivering across the full marketing mix of events, digital, communications, PR, advertising, partnerships and social.
- Lead on Charities and Philanthropy driven marketing activities from both an investing and operational perspective, including delivering the charities marketing plan.
- This will include delivering their programme of events across the UK.
- Managing all aspects of their marketing plan including digital, communications, PR, advertising and social.
- Lead the delivery of the Philanthropy proposition including development of webpages, content and related collateral.
Serve as the Marketing team’s representative on the charity committee.
- Collaborate with the charity committee to develop initiatives that engage audiences and provide marketing support on various workstreams as required.
Events
- Manage all events for Scotland and the regions.
- Work with the Events Manager on the delivery of the firm’s flagship event programme, where required.
Projects and campaigns
- Take responsibility for ad hoc projects and campaigns depending on critical business needs.
Branding
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring that brand and communications guidelines are maintained across marketing and event-related assets.
- Work with external design agency on creation of new marketing material.
Requirements
Key Skills and Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience as a generalist Senior Marketing Manager, including event experience, project management experience, copywriting and experience in managing external agencies.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Solution-oriented attitude.
- A team player with ability to take the lead, as well as ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
