Role Description

As our Senior Marketing Executive, you'll lead integrated marketing campaigns for our diverse portfolio of shows. You will create creative strategies and data-driven approaches that will be instrumental in driving ticket sales and enhancing fan engagement. You'll analyse customer data to shape marketing decisions, manage budgets, and develop engaging content that resonates with fans. In our collaborative and dynamic team environment, you'll work alongside passionate professionals, contributing your innovative ideas and commitment to excellence to help elevate our marketing initiatives and drive ticket sales.

  • Significant experience in a fast-paced marketing role.
  • A demonstrable, rounded understanding of marketing including digital marketing, sponsorship, and communications.
  • Solid understanding of the UK events and festivals landscape.
  • Previous experience managing large marketing budgets.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices across all marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and tools like Mailchimp, Canva, and Monday.com.
  • A passion for all things marketing and a strong desire to learn, create, contribute, and innovate.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing performance metrics, campaign reporting, and conducting customer research.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading and interpersonal skills.
  • The drive to take initiative, work independently, and be accountable while also working as a team player who is collaborative, positive, and flexible.

What the role includes

  • Lead and oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for specific shows and Summer Sessions events to drive ticket sales.
  • Plan and implement campaign timelines, drive deadlines, oversee the development of all marketing materials, and manage the marketing budgets.
  • Analyse and report on customer data, trends, and market analysis to build and create successful marketing strategies for each event.
  • Deliver high-quality campaign reports measuring the performance of the campaign and distribute information to relevant parties and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Initiate and drive the Summer Sessions concept and branding following brand guidelines in conjunction with the design team.
  • Create and develop the digital marketing strategy for Summer Sessions to raise awareness of the events and drive ticket sales, ensuring brand consistency and implementing innovative engagement strategies across all channels.
  • Manage and maintain the Summer Sessions and Gigs in Scotland websites, including adding relevant show and event information, optimising SEO, writing blogs, and other content updates.
  • Attend live events to capture and create engaging content for use across various digital platforms.
  • Work with Live Nation Partnerships team to deliver and implement partner sponsorship activations that have been secured for Summer Sessions.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with promoters, agents, venues, key agencies, third parties, and partners.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and identify new industry and marketing trends.
  • Undertake other activities in support of the marketing team as requested.
