Role & Responsibilities

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

The Senior Marketing Insights Analyst will use VideoAmp's extensive linear TV, streaming and cross-platform datasets to analyze and develop compelling insights that deliver value for marketers, media agencies and publishers. This role will focus on consistent delivery of data narratives and thought leadership to support external marketing (i.e. press, social, website, webinars), sales materials and case studies. As part of the Marketing team, this hands-on role will identify trends and uncover compelling insights that reinforce VideoAmp’s leadership in ad and content measurement, with an emphasis on sports, within the cross-media ecosystem.

  • Create hypotheses and analyze VideoAmp and partner datasets to uncover trends and generate thoughtful insights for the media and advertising industry.
  • Build compelling data narratives that emphasize VideoAmp's ad and content measurement capabilities, and position the company as a thought leader in cross-media measurement. 
  • Develop insights and a regular cadence of reports focused on sports specifically, for external marketing and sales materials.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing team, lead the creation of recurring insights-driven franchises on a quarterly, monthly and or weekly basis that can build the VideoAmp brand and generate earned media.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Revenue teams to craft data-driven stories for external thought leadership and client presentations.
  • Contribute to strategic insights development that drives demand and adoption of VideoAmp's measurement and currency solutions.
  • Support the marketing team in crafting materials and presentations that communicate complex data insights in an understandable and impactful manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years experience working in a Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within media or advertising, with experience analyzing sports viewership metrics.
  • Familiarity with linear TV, streaming and digital performance metrics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as BI software and/or SQL environments.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and experience validating data.
  • Strong communication skills, able to use data to tell a story and connect the dots
  • Passionate learner with the ability to think about a procedure/product and effectively communicate across technical and non-technical audiences

What We Offer

This position pays between $138,000.00 - $170,000.00 + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
