Hybrid working 3 days/week onsite.
Renishaw are seeking to recruit a Senior Marketing Executive on a 12 month FTC to cover maternity leave.
This opportunity is to support with digital marketing an exciting phase in the commercial activities of our Spectroscopy Products Division. The role will involve creating B2B marketing projects that align with the company’s existing and new products (cutting edge scientific instrumentation).

As the Senior Marketing Executive, you will be highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a team and has experience in marketing automation campaigns, using SEO principles and customer journey mapping to create and deliver engaging projects.

 

We offer a hybrid role with a dynamic team working 3 days a week office based with the remainder remote.

 

Responsibilities

  • Using a marketing automation system support with the creation of email journeys to nurture prospects.

  • Assist the Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing strategy and contribute new ideas in planning sessions.

  • Manage marketing events and webinars.

  • Produce email campaigns, forms and update marketing lists

  • Produce web content, building forms, ensuring optimisation for SEO and user experience.

  • Track, analyse and report on key performance metrics and help to identify areas for optimisation.

 

Key requirements

  • High proficiency with marketing automation systems with experience in maintaining opt-in lists, email newsletters and nurturing campaigns using Marketo and/or Hubspot

  • Experience of working with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and UTM links

  • Understanding of key marketing metrics

  • A high level of general computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office/Adobe software suites

  • Experience in business-to-business and/or scientific marketing.

 

Desirable requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering marketing campaigns that perform against targets

  • Good understanding of customer behaviour, market research, and customer segmentation

  • Practical experience in setting up marketing campaigns, optimisation and reporting on results

  • Familiarity with web-content management systems, website promotion and metric analysis

  • Scientific background or knowledge of the scientific instrumentation market

 

Person specification

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use data to inform marketing decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing content without 3rd party editing.

  • Ability to plan your own work and take responsibility for project completion.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, good attention to detail, and multi-tasking.

  • Be a lover of trying/testing new ways of doing things, be resourceful, willing to learn new skills, and able to problem solve.

  • The ability to plan well and work on multiple concurrent projects, both as an individual and as a team member.
