Vasion is looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Web Strategy to lead comprehensive global web marketing strategies and optimize digital experiences to drive growth. As a key leader in the marketing organization, this role is responsible for the website’s performance, lead generation, customer journey optimization, and SEO strategies. The ideal candidate is an experienced web strategist with deep marketing expertise, hands-on technical knowledge, a leadership mindset, and tracking toward a director-level role. This position requires a data-driven, innovative thinker who can collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the website is a high-performing, conversion-driving asset for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the global website marketing strategy and keep it aligned with the company's broader business objectives, working with a talented team of strategists and developers to design, develop, and lead in the production of world-class marketing experiences.
- Develop and execute a data-driven global web marketing strategy that directly contributes to pipeline growth, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
- Oversee website architecture, development, design, and functionality to ensure an effective and seamless user experience across all devices and regions, including North America/English, and global site support for localized sites.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of web marketers, developers, and contract resources, as well as partnering closely with designers.
- Own and implement advanced SEO and SEM strategies that drive high-quality traffic, conversion, and business growth, staying ahead of search algorithm changes and industry best practices.
- Lead global initiatives to bring website properties together, establishing governance, standards, and benchmarks for a worldwide organization.
- Maintain a roadmap for websites to ensure websites are regularly updated to reflect the company’s brand messaging, product offerings, and customer journey goals.
- Act as a key marketing leader, partnering with executives and cross-functional teams to align web strategy with broader company goals, ensuring stakeholders are regularly informed, and the website is fully integrated with all marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Advise on strategies that deliver engaging, personalized, optimized content tailored to target audiences.
- Lead CRO Program and initiatives through rigorous A/B testing, personalization, and UX enhancements to maximize conversion rates and revenue impact, including guidance on KPIs, milestones, and reporting.
- Oversee budget, ensuring all expenditures are aligned with strategic objectives and deliver a positive ROI.
- Manage relationships with third-party agencies and vendors as needed for website development, optimization, design, and maintenance, to ensure quality and timely delivery of website-related services.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on website strategy, user experience, development, and performance optimization.
- 5+ management experience, with proven leadership experience and a track record of successfully managing and mentoring development, optimization, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS or technology company is highly preferred, agency experience is also
- Proven track record of managing complex technical web projects and cross-functional initiatives, including migrations, localized sites, and global website initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of current SEO and SEM trends, with the ability to articulate and action those trends.
- Proficiency in front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to collaborate with developers on technical SEO, site speed, and web performance enhancements.
- In-depth knowledge of web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot), content management systems (CMS), project management, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven marketing, performance analysis, and reporting.
- Expertise in website optimization, A/B testing, personalization, and UX/UI best practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
