Role Overview

This is a dynamic position of equal parts daily execution of creative strategy & asset management. We are looking for an energetic, inspired human to be an integral part of our storytelling across all landscapes. This person has a growth-mindset, is well-organized and has impeccable taste. This position has a direct report of a Digital Asset Coordinator.


Responsibilities:

Creative

  • Present campaign concept decks to VP Marketing & Brand President
  • Lead all photo & video shoots to execute creative direction while capturing global brand asset needs
  • Oversee talent, castings and booking, model contracts for approx. 40 shoots/year including studio PDP, editorial and campaign photography and video as well as off-model pin-up needs
  • Responsible for adhering to established photography and video budget
  • Direct shoots to ensure stylist and photographer capture brand styling and relay accurate garment details
  • Create shot lists and track image needs during shoots
  • Oversee selection of hero DTC & campaign images

Asset Management

  • Ensure assets meet brands’ quality standards, including resolution, format, and branding guidelines
  • Identify gaps in asset availability and work with VP Marketing to address needs
  • Optimize metadata structures and taxonomy to enhance searchability/usability
  • Work closely with Digital Asset Coordinator to ensure timely delivery via Monday.com, Dropbox & WeTransfer
  • Develop policies for asset usage, rights management, and licensing compliance
  • Work closely with Marketing, E-commerce & Sales teams to ensure the correct assets are produced
  • Manage Digital Asset Coordinator and ensure weekly/monthly/seasonal deadlines are met



Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in photoshoot and video production management, including lighting, composition, and styling within the fashion or lateral industry
  • Proven track record of success in an art-photography-creative leadership role
  • Strong creative vision and ability to translate the P.J. Salvage brand
  • Outstanding presentation skills with the confidence to move an organization in an evolved direction
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant creative software
  • High proficiency in Capture One, selection process & editing best practices
  • Understanding of garment language, fabrication, and fit standards.
  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and content workflow optimization
  • Strong creative vision with the ability to translate marketing goals into compelling visuals
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience directing on-set production teams
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with diverse teams
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt quickly to evolving creative needs

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in our office and/or studio, this will vary week to week depending on shoot schedules/deadlines


PAY RATE: $88,000/yr-$124,000/yr
