Chapter Leader - Senior Manager
We are currently seeking a skilled Chapter Leader - Senior Manager in the FI Technology area with a passion for leading people, developing talent, and building strong partnerships on cross-company programs. You will have the opportunity to lead a number of agile technology teams charged with designing, developing, implementing and maintaining technology solutions for the Fidelity Institutional Product & Business Enablement group.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of proven experience in people management & project delivery
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in a technology or software development area
- Significant project and delivery expertise using Agile methodology
- Bachelors’ degree in business, computer science, or other relevant field is required
The Purpose of Your Role
This role involves people management, talent development, customer relationship responsibilities and technology project management. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills and a true passion for developing talent across software engineering and agile roles. They will have a strong technical background and will work closely with the agile delivery teams on requirements, design, task estimation, and implementation of agreed functionality as well as release management.

- Experience leading & managing people across multiple different functional areas (Software Engineering, Systems Analysis, Scrum Masters, Automation etc)
- Experienced in Project Delivery in an agile environment
- Strong technical background with a passion for process improvement and setting standards of delivery excellence on Agile squads
- Excellent presentation, written & verbal communication skills
- Experience in release management and co-ordination across multiple projects
- Strong customer facing and relationship management skills
- Highly motivated with willingness to take ownership / responsibility for their work
