Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated The Senior Manager Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. The Senior Manager Technical Project Manager will lead and manage multiple technical projects from initiation through completion, along with developing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation. In this role, the right candidate will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. The Senior Manager Technical Project Manager will also stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in project management and technology.
What you will do
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement
- Monitor KPIs and service performance metrics
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and business partners highlighting successes, areas for improvement and strategic recommendations
- Integrate relevant data and information and apply the findings to positively impact our business & function along with share key insights and actions based on data and metrics
- Work with other Product Managers and Engineering Managers to determine and manage cross-team dependencies
- Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization and cross-functional teams
- Operationalizing and facilitating brainstorms, workshops carving out time and space to ideation on business driving ideas/outcomes
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience with several of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, and/or strategic business planning
- 5+ years of experience in cross-BU, project management, consumer experience, and/or business roles; healthcare and/or management consulting experience preferred but not required
- Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large-scale initiatives with high degree of complexity
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Ad Hoc Executive Leadership reporting and PowerPoint deck building
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to foster cross-functional relationships; comfort operating in a matrixed environment
- Comfort with ambiguity, ability to create a process where one doesn’t exist and deliver results Ability to manage high-impact projects with high-degree of autonomy
- Demonstrated experience successfully driving change in complex organizations
- Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously
- Ad Hoc support resolution efforts for critical issues and escalations, coordinating resources across teams to ensure timely and effective solutions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
