What we need
As the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Design and Analytics, you will lead our logistics and supply chain network team within our commercial organization. You will be responsible to develop, design and optimize the logistics network to meet our customer needs as part of the sales process. In addition to strong analytical and problem-solving skills used as part of the process, you should be adept at presenting to key internal and external decision makers. Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success.
GreenBox* is pioneering warehousing-as-a-service, offering outsourced warehousing operations, and specializing in automated warehousing solutions. Our focus is on the efficient movement of goods in cases and pallets across all sectors, such as wholesale, retail, and general merchandising.

What we do
The Solutions Engineering team is part of the Sales organization which plays a critical role driving revenue and growth by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting solutions that address those needs effectively. The Solutions Engineering team are a trusted source of technical and analytical expertise within the Sales organization for both internal and external customers.
What you’ll do

Responsible for formulating strategies, build and manage tools to deliver data, reports, information, intelligence, and insight in a way that is easy to digest by external customers regarding network design and optimization

Understand our customers’ business and challenges to provide data insights to drive value to customers

Lead the development, design, and optimize the customers logistics network, including transportation routes and warehouse locations.

Utilize and develop advanced modeling and simulation tools to analyze and improve the customers network performance

Perform scenario analysis and develop forecasting models to predict logistics needs based on demand, inventory levels and other key factors

Synthesize the results in a clear and concise manner, present to all levels of management and to the customer

Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with business objectives

Manage and lead a small team of network design and analytics analysts

Attend sales calls with the sales team to answer technical questions and assist the sales team with proposal development

Produce clear and concise communication (written, presentation, customer)

Strong presentation skills with the confidence to present to large, executive-level audiences

Creating and maintaining a professional teamwork environment and being an excellent team player
What you’ll need
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management or relevant field of study

Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics network design and optimization and 10 years of relevant work experience

Expert level experience using network modeling tools and logistics management software

Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)

Expert level experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau)

Demonstrated leadership experience with cross-functional teams; indirect leadership experience should be evident

Proven track record managing complex projects and proposals

Strong presentation skills with the confidence to present to large, executive-level audiences. An ability to present complex concepts to customers with varying backgrounds

Excellent critical thinking skills
Our Environment

Up to 30% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
