How you’ll make an impact:
- The Senior Manager Sales Training of Evoque will develop, enhance, and lead the execution of commercial clinical and technical sales training programs, including lab-based and case-based training resulting in an effective and engaging program.
- Develop, enhance, and lead the execution of commercial clinical and technical sales training programs, including lab-based and case-based training resulting in an effective and engaging program.
- Lead the design and development of a scalable commercial field training program. Identify and participate in the development of content for training curriculum for field-based sales employees and clinical specialists in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet the changing needs and priorities of the sales organization.
- Assess the field sales team for clinical knowledge, capabilities and skills in the lab and cases.
- Create agendas and contribute to hands-on, lab-based training activities
- Partner with Sales Leadership to ensure training objectives are met with consistency and in compliance with the sales training strategy
- Measure effectiveness of programs through post-meeting survey instruments, field feedback and KOL review, develop plan to address concerns, and lead the implementation of solutions
What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree in related scientific (health care) field, 10 years experience of related experience Required
- Master's Degree or equivalent in related field, 8 years experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience Preferred
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Up to 50% travel US Nationwide
- Experience in echo cardiography Preferred
- Prior successful experience as a trainer in clinical and/or sales role Preferred
- Proven successful project management leadership skills
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement training and field adoption strategies, convert these into tactical roll-out plans and deliver results with a specific emphasis on market strategy and new product launches.
- Expert understanding of clinical education procedures while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines
- Expert understanding of related aspects of clinical education processes and/or systems
- Understanding of related aspects of sales training processes and/or systems
- Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to clinical education
- Extensive understanding of cardiovascular science
- Extensive understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology
- Extensive understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting
- Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of clinical education to the business
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
- Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
- Ability to relate to physicians, nurses, and senior-level healthcare managers

For California, the base pay range for this position is $174,000 to $247,000 (highly experienced).
