Job Summary

The Senior Manager / Director, Sales Operations – Technical Sales is a critical role within the Revenue Operations team, responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency to support the Solution Engineering team's success.  This role will act as a strategic partner with the Regional Chief Technology Officer and Solution Engineering leader. 

Reporting into the Revenue Operations Leader, the successful candidate will work collaboratively to streamline processes, manage sales / SE data and analytics and enable overall sales performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Partner with Senior Leaders in the Solution Engineering and Professional Services teams, to design, implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) around POVs, technical deal reviews, increasing customer growth & engagement
  • Oversee and execute the semi-annual planning process for Solution Engineering team, including global quota creation/allocation, territory assignment and headcount modeling.  Collaborate with others in the SE Organization as well as Revenue Operations, Finance, Commissions and Sales throughout the planning process
  • Develop, document, and standardize SE operations & processes, ensuring they are efficient and effective; identify areas of improvement in processes and implement necessary changes to enhance productivity.
  • Perform analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples of analyses include SE performance, customer segmentation, propensity to buy, white space, product-specific analysis, etc.).  Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive an operating cadence around forecasting and pipeline management to deliver excellence and ensure sustained, predictable growth across all business units.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Sales Operations/Strategy, Analytics, Business Operations, or other related fields
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data and metrics effectively.
  • Expert in excel and previous experience working with Salesforce processes and report template creation.
  • Familiarity with professional services and Solutions Engineering roles
  • Familiarity with PowerBI. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools; experience supporting the implementation of a CRM or other sales tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; effective storyteller who can engage an audience.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales processes and strategies.
  • Knowledge of sales forecasting and planning methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in an urgent, and evolving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
