What You Will Do…
- Revenue Recognition Oversight: Lead the revenue accounting process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other applicable standards
- Billing Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for all customers, with a focus on scalable processes
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the billing and revenue accounting teams, fostering professional development and accountability while setting performance objectives
- Process Optimization: Identify, design, and implement process improvements and system enhancements for revenue recognition and billing workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Collaboration Across Functions: Partner with sales, customer success, and FP&A teams to align billing and revenue practices with broader company objectives
- Customer and Audit Management: Work with clients and external auditors to resolve billing disputes, revenue inquiries, and audit requirements effectively
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present key revenue and billing metrics to senior leadership, including variance analyses and forecasting insights
- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure all revenue and billing practices adhere to company policies, contracts, and applicable regulatory standards
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have…
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 7+ years' of experience in revenue accounting and billing, including prior experience in a management role
- Expertise in revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and experience in the software or SaaS industry strongly preferred
- Strong technical proficiency with ERP (NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce) systems
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively across departments
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities

Salary
$115,000 - $145,000/year DOE
Location:
This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver, CO office a few days a week.
