Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance Operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that our programs meet high-quality standards through effective testing strategies. You will lead a team responsible for both manual and automated testing, working closely with technical and business teams to ensure exceptional quality in every product.
What you’d be doing:
- Lead and manage an onshore and offshore team of quality analysts, managing ticket assignments, deadlines, and risk escalations.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting processes to drive continuous improvement in quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Performance Management and Improvement team to support capacity modeling and resource allocation.
- Manage contract QA budget and resource allocation including resource forecast, resource onboarding & offboarding, monthly budget vs actual communications, quarterly and annual spend forecast, invoice reviews, etc.
- Provide coaching and guidance on testing methodologies to improve team efficiency and testing
- Analyze workflows and identify optimization opportunities to enhance
- Drive the QA automation strategy, balancing manual and automated testing to maximize quality and
- Develop and maintain documentation of QA best practices and testing
- Foster a culture of quality and accountability across the organization by promoting awareness and education on quality standards and
- Manage and complete ad-hoc projects and initiatives as they arise.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage workload based on capacity models
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Experience leading offshore quality assurance resources
- Understanding of automation testing frameworks and quality management systems (e.g., Radish BDD, Playwright, TestRail, JIRA).
- Proven ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Previous experience in the Property & Casualty industry
- Experience leading implementation of new test automation frameworks
