Program Management

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage large scale projects/programs; Drive the overall project roadmap, provide financial oversight of projects, orchestrate portfolio prioritization, drive project execution, and produce project health reports and risk assessments. Ensure alignment with Global Process owner business objectives and requirements.
- Develop a high-level milestone plan for the program and manage program change in accordance with the change management plan to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts; Measure and track the benefits of the program against established goals and targets.
- Facilitate the creation and approval of business cases within the program, and coordinate the sharing and prioritization of resources among projects
- Manage program communications and stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear, concise, and timely updates and maintaining alignment between the program and the organization's overall strategic direction; develop and implement change management plans, including communication plans, training plans, and other related deliverables to ensure successful change adoption.
- Execute program plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) and communicate program status and data in order to maintain accurate and current program information for the use of stakeholders
- Obtain approval for the program and actively manages program benefits and issues in partnership with IT business partner, as applicable
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and business partners, understanding their needs, expectations, and ensuring their requirements are met.
- Oversee user acceptance testing process to validate the functionality and performance of business applications and systems.
- Own one or more Project Management Office (PMO) continuous improvement activities.
- Identify and evaluate process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities.
- Manage project closure activities, including gathering lessons learned and driving changes to future for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a project and program management subject matter expert , including guiding and mentoring project managers sourcing and directing contract resources tied to projects within the program; and develops expertise in a business process, professional discipline, market or product.
- Other incidental duties.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, 10 years of relevant experience required.
- Master's Degree or equivalent preferred.
- PMP or Scrum Qualification preferred
- Experience in Program Management related to finance & accounting function is highly preferred
Additional Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management methodology required.
- Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and related project management systems.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
- Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization.
- Expert understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to managing multiple projects within an overall program.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent understanding and work experience with project budgets and financial management.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change.
- Experience in facilitating change, including collaboration with management and executive stakeholders.
