Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Senior Manager - Product Design to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this leadership role, you will drive the product design strategy and oversee the creation of user-centered digital experiences that delight our customers and drive business growth.

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Develop and implement product design strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure seamless product development
• Drive the design process from concept to launch, including user research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing
• Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization
• Present design concepts and solutions to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to continuously improve product design
• Manage resource allocation and budgeting for design projects
• Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of successful product launches and driving design innovation
• Strong expertise in user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD)
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience managing and developing design teams
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into design solutions
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
• In-depth understanding of current design trends and emerging technologies across various digital platforms and devices
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and travel as needed
