The Senior Manager, Analytics will grow an analytics team, ensuring understanding of broader organizational goals and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. You will navigate complex data challenges to deliver impactful insights that create operational excellence and improve member experiences. A focus will transform manual workflows into automated, scalable solutions while aligning analytics initiatives with organizational goals and compliance standards. The Senior Manager will also grow collaboration with organizational partners and will report to the Director of Strategy & Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Vision:
- Define and drive the strategic direction of the analytics team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and scalability of analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize analytics opportunities that advance enterprise goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster understanding between analytics, technology, and product teams to ensure insights are actionable and directly impact key organizational outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships across the organization to use data insights for decision-making and strategy optimization.
- People Leadership and Team Development:
- Develop leaders within the analytics team, building a succession pipeline and promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Lead team restructuring efforts, ensuring the right mix of skills and roles to grow analytics operations.
- Operational Excellence and Transformation:
- Lead the transformation of manual analytics workflows into automated, scalable solutions that align with compliance and industry best practices.
- Establish and enforce standardized processes for data governance, quality assurance, and analytics reporting.
- AI and Latest Technologies:
- Explore and integrate AI technologies, including large language modeling, into analytics strategies to inspire creativity and enhance organizational capabilities.
- Provide leadership in evaluating latest analytics tools to ensure the team stays ahead of industry trends.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Interpret and apply compliance standards in the design and execution of analytics processes, ensuring we adhere to audit and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee data security measures to mitigate risk and maintain the integrity of sensitive healthcare data.
- Driving Results and Impact:
- Develop and track goals for analytics programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and exceed their promised impact.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies through data-driven strategies.
- Team and Organizational Enablement:
- Define and inspire the team's mission and purpose, ensuring understanding of our goals and creating a motivational environment that celebrates progress.
- Advance team structures and processes to promote future success, implementing strategic organizational design that supports Member Care's broader goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, statistics, mathematics, computer science); equivalent experience may be considered.
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, including interpreting compliance and audit regulations.
- 5 years leading management level staff.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in data analytics.
- Expertise in data visualization tools, such as Looker or Tableau, and experience of data transformation processes.
- Experience transforming manual workflows into automated, scalable solutions.
- Strong ability to translate data into applicable insights for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Experience working within or collaborating with product and/or technology organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience mentoring leaders and helping cross-functional teams align strategies and processes with organizational goals.
- Advanced degree in healthcare, analytics, or related fields.
- Experience with automation tools and workflows for analytics processes.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and their applications in analytics.
- Expertise in healthcare compliance standards, audit requirements, and operational best practices.
Work Environment:
- This is a 100% remote position, with occasional travel required for leadership meetings, organizational programs, and team collaboration.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Regular attendance at the assigned work location (remote).
- Remain seated for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 20 lbs.
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $128,130 - $180,990 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $140,943 - $199,089 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $153,756 - $217,188 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $166,569 - $235,287 + equity + benefits

Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and great compensation package based on their roles and locations. In addition to earning a base salary, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus.
