Background
The last 5 years has seen a profound acceleration of investment in sport within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Sport is a prime driver in the kingdom’s “Vision 2030” an ambitious plan to diversify its economy and transform the lives of Saudi Nationals and inspire visitors from around the world. Dentsu Sports recently launched their MENA office and are building a team of marketing professionals perfectly placed to deliver transformational sports projects in the region.
The Role:
As a Senior Manager, Marketing Campaign Strategy you work alongside the Denstu Sports Analytics team (part of Dentsu Sports International DSI) and the Merkle (a Dentsu agency) technology team on a diverse mix of client projects in the MENA region (based in Saudi Arabia).
Lead the delivery of strategic marketing projects and campaigns for rights holders and brands based on insights developed from 1st party data analysis and broader 3rd party data and market research.
About you

Experienced in planning and delivering multichannel D2C digital campaigns in an agency environment or experience in a marketing or strategic in-house role within a relevant D2C industry.

A Saudi National or with right to work status in KSA.

Sound business development skills and evidence of driving client growth.

Great self-starting attitude, keen to join an entrepreneurial organisation where every working day is different.

Intuitive, self-motivated and an understanding of the business of sport would be beneficial.

Strong understanding of the rapidly changing digital landscape, digital marketing platforms and data management systems.
Responsibilities:
-
Analysing 1st party data to inform campaign strategy across a variety of sports revenue lines and communication initiatives.

Owning, planning and managing multi-channel personalised campaigns for a variety of sports, teams & brands

Developing automated campaign journeys

Identifying fan segments
-
Partnering with different stakeholders to keep them informed about upcoming data management initiatives

Maintaining and improving data management processes and accuracy
-
Working with Dentsu technology teams to manage CRM, CDP systems and data warehousing

Strong understanding of omnichannel digital marketing platforms e.g. Braze, Salesforce, Adobe, MS Dynamics

Digital Marketing Analytics experience e.g. Google Analytics

Customer Data Platform / Data Management experience
Client Servicing/Account Management:
-
Respond in a timely and accurate manner to client requests, working seamlessly with colleagues across the network to deal with requests.

Take lead on client campaign projects on a day-to-day basis.

Manage agency network on the coordination of client requirements.
Project Management:
-
Manage campaign projects and tasks from start to finish individually or with the broader team.

Delegate relevant tasks to project team at all levels.

Share work with the broader agency and champion others.

Ensure that projects are undertaken and delivered on time.
Administration:
-
Have knowledge and understanding of commerciality and costing system to support on job estimates in Paprika.

Understand the legal process for projects and have the ability to set up basic scopes of work for projects.

Regular reporting of task completion and updates to managers and above.

Complete timesheets and other day to day admin tasks timely and accurately.
