The Role:
The Sr. Manager, License Audit will be responsible for managing the company's license audit process and team responsible for conducting detailed audits to ensure that a customer's use of Apryse software is compliant with licensing agreements. In addition, this role will have direct responsibility for auditing one of our product lines. The function involves reviewing software installations, usage, and license agreements to identify discrepancies, mitigate risks, and ensure the company avoids legal and financial penalties associated with software mismanagement.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead a team, be flexible, well-rounded, self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and highly skilled at reviewing contracts and conducting audit discussions with customers.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of License Audit Managers and foster an environment of continuous learning and development
  • Develop a deep understanding of Apryse's licensing models, both current and historical and enhance the audit program to ensure completeness and effectiveness. Oversee audits to assess whether customers are using our software in compliance with its licenses.
  • Preparation of audit letters and initiation of the audit process with customers.
  • Communication of audit purpose to customers, addressing their questions and concerns professionally.
  • Conduct follow up, analyze reports received, and determine status of license use. Ensure proper documentation is completed and findings reviewed and approved by the appropriate parties
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to align audit processes with business goals and ensure audits are conduct on customers at the appropriate time
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Prepare management reports to show status of audit, overall findings and bookings generated for each period


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • 10+ year experience in customer software audits with the last 4+ years leading an audit team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Spanish and or Portuguese is a big plus.
  • Confidence in engaging with technical and legal executives at top-tier organizations.
  • A customer-centric approach with a strong commitment to exceptional service and relationship management.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Project management experience required, showcasing the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $130,000.00-$160,000.00 USD in on target earnings.
