We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, IT Support to join our team at GoGlobal. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of IT support technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement IT solutions to enhance our productivity and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a team of IT support technicians, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues and provide technical support to end-users.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Maintain and update our IT documentation including IT policies, procedures, and user manuals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement IT solutions to enhance our productivity and efficiency.
- Manage the deployment of software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IT and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our IT infrastructure.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT services.
- Identify and implement training for the team, get them to attend courses, ensure IT team’s knowledge is updated based on changing tech landscape and conduct training for team and Company.
- Software and hardware Asset Management.
- Ensure the audit process and standards are adhered to, defended year on year and the ISMS certificate is renewed.
- Other duties as assigned by senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support or a similar role, with 5 years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
