Reporting to the Senior Director, the Senior Manager-Global Process Owner will play a senior level role focused on managing and optimizing specific business processes on a global scale (e.g. sample handling and equipment). The primary responsibility of the Global Process Owner is to ensure processes under their accountability are efficient, effective and aligned with the overall organization goals, strategies and key initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End to end process ownership: Takes ownership and accountability for specific global business processes (e.g. sample handling and equipment) and drives these with the highest quality.
  • Process Design and Improvement: Designs and implements standardized end to end process solutions. Drives continuous improvement identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization and automation.
  • Strategy Alignment: Aligns the process objectives with the overall organizational strategy and goals. Collaborates with global key stakeholders and functional leaders to understand their needs and ensure processes support their strategic priorities.
  • Performance Measurement: Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process performance and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Builds strong relationships and collaborates with stakeholders at various levels to understand their process requirements and gather feedback. Engages with stakeholders to drive process adoption, manage expectations, and communicate process changes or updates.
  • Change Management: Leads change initiatives related to process improvements/redesigns. Develops implementation and change management plans, including communication, training and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promotes the use of Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping and other process optimization methodologies. Encourages innovation and explore new technologies or approaches to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborates with other Global Process Owners, Process Managers and functional leaders to ensure process integration and standardization. Shares best practices and drives a cohesive approach to business process management.
  • Governance and Compliance: Develops and implements governance frameworks to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Benefit Realization: Analyze and assess investment and benefits for process improvement and strategic initiatives. Develop business cases and track realization of benefits


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Operations Management or related).
  • Extensive experience in process management, process improvement, or business process reengineering (minimum 12 years).
  • Strong knowledge of process design methodologies such as BPMN, Lean Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend effective solutions.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.
  • Strong business process management, change management and stakeholder management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong command of English language.


What we offer:

  • Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $145,000-192,800 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
