Job Description

Under the supervision of the Sr. Director, BPC NA, the Senior Manager will be responsible in providing specific support to the local Supply Chain leadership team (SVP Operations, VP Operations, Sr. Director of Engineering) as well as the Central LVMH P&C Supply Chain Leadership team.

The Senior Manager will be a key partner in the budgeting/forecasting/project management portion of the BPC Supply Chain function providing qualitative analysis of actual to forecast variance, creating productivity schedules to find efficiencies in the operations process, and work on a variety of modeling scenarios designed to maximize ROI.

The focus of the position is to be the key Finance contact for both the local market (US & Canada) as well as the Central Leadership team, working largely autonomously and bridging the partnership between the FP&A and Supply Chain Teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain Finance and Operations Support:

  • Monthly or quarterly communication of costs to Maisons
  • Ability to build the manpower budget of the warehouse based on: Volumes, warehouse productivity hypothesis, absenteeism hypothesis.
  • Ability to follow the actual warehouse manpower costs understanding the main gaps versus budget: volumes/mix/unit cost effects
  • Ability to communicate the capex actuals (authorized, committed, invoiced…) on a regular basis
  • Ownership of monthly closing process for LVMH P&C NA Supply Chain function (communicating accruals to accounting, P&L maintenance, allocation key maintenance, etc.)
  • Ownership of monthly schedules (departmental statements) reconciling Actual vs Forecast and leading monthly reviews with Supply Chain Leadership (SVP of Operations, VP Operations, Sr. Director Engineering, etc.)
  • Ownership of Finance portion of monthly reviews with LVMH P&C Central Logistics team, providing explanations for all trends/variance/financial impact affecting performance vs. forecast
  • Ownership of construction of semiannual budget and revision processes inclusive of presentation to LVMH P&C Central leadership team.
  • Key contact for large-scale project (Supply Chain 2030) aiming to choose of the best supply chain network and warehouse layouts for our organization: validate the costs structure and project ROI as well as helping on future cost models
  • Contribute to the definition of ROI for any major Capex/Opex projects
  • Actively contribute to action plans around efficiency improvements inclusive of developing productivity schedules, manpower analysis, etc.
  • Work on ad-hoc analysis upon projects and specific needs from the leadership team
  • Be the key finance contact for the Brand Controllers in terms of Logistics costs & variance explanations

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Located in Cranbury, NJ Distribution Center
  • Occasional visits to East Brunswick NJ office (monthly) and 501 Madison Corporate Office (Quarterly)
  • Travel required based on needs of the business

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Finance and controlling, Supply chain/Distribution/Manufacturing related preferred. Luxury goods, CGI, a plus
  • Project Management Experience
  • Financial Modeling experience
  • Experience in presentations to senior leadership is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required; French is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, along with being analytical and being able to challenge internal partners.
  • Ability to adhere to tight, evolving deadlines and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to develop metrics alongside supply chain leadership.
  • Strong team player and strong relationship builder

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published range of $140,000-$155,000.
