Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Senior Manager, Facilities to join our pack in Plantation, FL. As the senior leader of the onsite Facilities team, you'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional workplace experience for our Team Members (TMs) while coordinating daily operations. This role involves leading a team, coordinating with vendors and the landlord, supporting on-site events, and owning space management systems and processes. You'll report directly to the Director of Facilities and help drive a culture of service, efficiency, and excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a high-performing Facilities team to deliver an outstanding, welcoming workplace experience.
- Oversee space planning and occupancy, including seating assignments, team moves, and neighborhood layouts-partnering with leaders to meet business needs.
- Maintain accurate data on headcount and team allocations; build positive relationships to stay ahead of organizational changes.
- Drive daily operations: ensure workspaces are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and manage supply and asset inventories.
- Own office budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships-covering maintenance, catering, vending, and general services.
- Manage building maintenance and improvement projects in coordination with landlords, vendors, and internal partners.
- Oversee the mailroom process and facilitate shipping/receiving logistics.
- Support workplace safety by partnering with EHS and Asset Protection, and ensuring compliance with emergency protocols.
- Collaborate on and support on-site events-from everyday engagement to large-scale meetings and summits.
- Communicate regularly with customers on facility updates, and serve as a go-to resource for Team Members and guests.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (business, communications, real estate), or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of facilities or workplace management experience supporting over 500 employees daily.
- Experience as a people leader, leading a small team of individual contributors
- A customer-first approach and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and independently solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Experience managing office budgets, vendors, and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with space planning tools and occupancy tracking systems.
- Willingness to be onsite Monday - Friday, with flexibility for events or emergencies.
- Position may require travel.
