Job Description
The Machine Identity Shared Services engineering team architects, designs and implements products to meet the needs of CyberArk’s customers in cloud-native environments. We work together to design and build the best solutions that we can, while also integrating those solutions with other products offered by CyberArk.
The team values trust and autonomy and are keen to experiment with structures and processes that limit hierarchy, encourage self-leadership and promote collaboration. The Manager for this team will play a big role in the team's pursuit of new ways of working (making participatory decisions, empowering the team through collaboration) and manage the team’s delivery.
This is a hybrid role at our Santa Clara location.
Responsibilities

Line-manage a team of Software Engineers and other related roles. Work closely with Engineering leadership, Product Management, UX, and other stakeholders as needed.

Shape the team goals and coordinate their execution.

Coach the team to develop new ways of working that increase trust, alignment, communication, and self-leadership.

Support individuals with learning and development through 1-to-1s, coaching/mentoring and training opportunities.

Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and across other teams.
-
Tackle technical challenges with the team and facilitate problem-solving.
-
Alongside the Director of Engineering be accountable for the overall effectiveness and delivery of the team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrated leadership skills with experience of managing software engineering team.

10+ years on hands-on experience in design and development of enterprise software.

Experience in the processes of developing and delivering cloud-based solutions.

Mentoring and coaching experience, and a desire to see the people that they work with learn and grow, including experience coaching senior/principal engineers.

A sense of ownership and customer obsession, as well as keenness to always look for ways to improve our products.

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and respond with urgency and pragmatism.
-
Desire to continually learn and experiment with new ideas.

The salary range for this position is $201,000/year - $268,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
