About This Role:

Crusoe is at the forefront of expanding hyperscale AI data center infrastructure and is actively doing so in Abilene, Texas and beyond. We have an opportunity for motivated construction professionals to be at the forefront of leading generational construction projects that will support our country’s efforts to remain the global leader in AI technology.

Crusoe is searching for a seasoned Senior Manager of Data Center Operations to oversee deployments and manage architecture for our cutting-edge AI data center builds. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, build, and implement innovative data center solutions that support the ever-growing demands of AI computing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, and operations to ensure the successful execution of these projects. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on the future of AI infrastructure and propel Crusoe to the forefront of the industry.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to define project requirements and develop deployment plans for AI data centers.

  • Leadership: Lead a team of engineers in designing and implementing innovative data center architecture solutions. Mentor and develop junior team members.

  • Oversight: Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of data center equipment.

  • Project Management: Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with data center deployments.

  • Technology Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data center design and construction. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of AI computing requirements.

  • High-Visibility Projects: Be a part of a team delivering complex, hyperscale AI Data Center builds that are receiving national press and visibility.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Data Center Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in data center design and deployment.

  • Project Leadership: A proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex engineering projects.

  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of data center architecture and best practices. Familiarity with the latest technologies in AI computing.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Motivation & Work Ethic: A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.

Compensation:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $215,000 - $235,000 base salary. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
