Ferring+You
The role will leverage advanced analytical techniques and data-driven insights to support the commercial organization in developing strategies and tactics for their in-market products. The role will report to the advanced analytics lead and will work collaboratively with franchises and regions to understand the business needs and to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Collaborate closely with these departments to align data-driven insights with strategic decisions, identifying key areas for growth, optimization and innovation.
Your day at Ferring

Analyze large datasets from CRM tool, IQVIA market data, real-world evidence, and market data to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support decision-making in drug development and market strategies

Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through presentations and reports, translating complex analyses into actionable business recommendations

Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to develop dashboards and visualizations
-
Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines
-
Stay current with advancements in data science methodologies and industry trends relevant to pharmaceuticals

Generate insights using statistical techniques and machine learning models that transform raw data into actionable levers for change. These insights will empower the organization to make informed decisions and enhance operational efficiency
Behind our innovation…There’s you

Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, business intelligence, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or a related field

At least 5 years + of professional experience in quantitative data analysis or PhD with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience with research in machine learning algorithms

Very good knowledge and in depth understanding of Machine Learning methods, both classical and deep learning models

Experience applying AI/Machine Learning methods to business questions

Very good knowledge of the higher statistical and econometric methods in theory and practice

Experience with handling Big Data

Ability to write clean, reusable, production-level code
-
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) including technical aspects of a project, ability to develop usable documentation, results interpretation and business recommendations

Knowledge of pharmaceutical market and experience with pharmaceutical data (medical, hospital, pharmacy, claims data) would be a plus, but not a must.
