The North America Business Planning team oversees Sales Planning & Budgeting, Regional Trade Supply Planning and Demand Forecasting, fostering strong cross-functional partnerships across the North American business, inclusive of Sales, Digital, Marketing, Finance, Global and Wholesale partners. The team strives to develop Retail Sales targets, analyzing business and developing actions to maximize opportunities while mitigating risks to the business.

Job Description

Your Impact to the role:

  • Partner with Sales to develop strategic business plans and oversee the planning of annual retail sales, and net plans to ensure that financial targets are achieved.
  • Review and recommend strategies to improve account productivity and growth.
  • Align financial plans to franchise by account and MOB (mix of business).
  • Produce business analytics to support the global Brand. This includes the issuance of several standard monthly and quarterly reports as well as general ad-hoc analyses.
  • Provide a summary of findings and recommendations from standard reports analysis to allow the brand to address risks and opportunities to the Brand's Annual Operating Plan.
  • Create and publish Weekly and Monthly retail reports for the North America team and fresh Executive Committee.
  • Ensure data accuracy for all reporting and be able to clearly articulate business drivers, observations, learnings, and actions.
  • Report on and plan product discontinuation phase-out and make recommendations to manage the financial impact.

Your impact in your first year:

  • Plan annual strategies and help define retailer-specific tactics and strategies.
  • Using internal data, along with market and competitor research, to drive sales strategy to meet budgeted targets.
  • Expediently define and refine structured planning processes for efficiency, and closely partner with finance, account management, and head of sales to ensure real-time transparency in analysis and proactive alignment in action plans.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

  • 7 Years of Experience in in sales & operations, finance, or corporate planning
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as Business Administration (in Marketing or Finance).
  • Strong business acumen and financial aptitude.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to steer multiple stakeholders within the organization.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Advanced Excel experience
