Our Net Cloud Exchange and Private Cellular Network solutions support over 30,000 customers and over 1.5 million devices, all managed via a single pane of glass using our flagship Net Cloud Manager platform. As we expand and scale this micro-services-based cloud-native platform orchestrated with Kubernetes technologies, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Infrastructure team responsible for this important initiative

As part of the Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps team, you will work with an incredible group of experienced DevOps engineers who know how to build scalable, cloud-native infrastructure and software deployment pipeline using Kubernetes. You will be an integral part of a global team responsible for creating, managing and scaling this public cloud infrastructure.

What Will You Do?

  • Manage a team of Cloud and DevOps engineers  

  • Work with application teams to prioritize infrastructure needs 

  • Understand Cloud TCO and implement tools and processes to improve GCP cost transparency and accountability

  • Work with management to build standards and processes to improve efficiency and operational excellence

  • Ability to be hands-on and willing to act as player-coach for GCP Cloud standard methodologies and IaC

  • Assists with recruiting, training, mentoring and developing team members and develop strategies for retaining top talent 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science (or related technical field) 

  • Eight to thirteen (8-13) years of experience

  • Seven (7+) years of deep technical experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture (GCP), Kubernetes (GKE) or a closely related field

  • Two (2+) years of experience managing teams and working with remote teams 

  • Understanding of cost optimization strategies and experience with cloud cost analysis tools

  • Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automation

  • Must have hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or equivalent experience with similar technologies

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing, keeping the right people informed of relevant issues as well as understand and execute oral and written instructions

  • Must have some experience in implementing Cloud Security best practices and Compliance 

  • Experience with Programming and DevOps
