As a Senior Manager, you’ll have the challenging and rewarding opportunity to build on the foundation of already established data and analytics products. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing, motivating and inspiring analytics talent and have experience leveraging CPG industry data for providing insight to clients in support of Ibotta’s largest line of business. You will also be responsible for working closely with cross-functional leaders to define and execute on various business objectives.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:

Leading the team responsible for designing, developing and deploying key reporting and analysis to inform and influence decision making

Attracting and retaining talent necessary to achieve the mission of the Client Analytics function, and mentoring individual contributors on your team to grow and develop their professional and technical skills

Regularly communicating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their business goals, present analytical results, insights and recommendations and help them determine how Analytics can be best leveraged in their organization

Partnering with peers to foster a strong culture in the Analytics organization

Developing and executing a strategy and roadmap for the Client Analytics organization, and ideating and innovating processes that will best serve the CPG sales organization

Develop the most effective and efficient processes to get things done with a focus on continuous improvement, monitoring performance, accuracy, and usage of tools and reports

Anticipate future trends and create competitive and breakthrough strategies that show a clear connection between vision and action

What we are looking for:

8+ years of practical work experience with CPG industry analytics
-
4+ years of leading an analytics teams
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or similar field required

Advanced SQL and data wrangling skills, with the ability to coach individual team members and knowledge of at least one major Business Intelligence Tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)

Ability to oversee in-depth analysis end-to-end with minimal guidance/oversight and ability to drive staff to complete these analyses, with examples of high-quality output (slides) that provide actionable, business-focused insights and recommendations

Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured data analysis

Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to convey complex analytical results in a clear, concise manner

Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to collaborate across functional areas. Skilled in guiding discussion and debates to help reach a consensus

Experience managing both individual contributors as well as managers with a diverse set of skills and technical areas of focus

Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and processes to bring new methodologies and process to the team

This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.

Base compensation range: $139,000 - $157,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
