About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented leader to join our team.  As the Senior Manager, Capacity Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and operational direction of our global capacity delivery team. This role will focus on landing cloud infrastructure capacity on time to service our customer demand, ensuring optimal resource availability, cost efficiency, and scalability.   

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, along with solid infrastructure delivery experience spanning GPU, CPU, Storage, and Network. The candidate will also possess end to end knowledge in demand and capacity planning, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to manage delivery, and share timely communications in a fast-paced environment.  You will be responsible for building a team and formal processes in order to manage delivery across portfolios, programs, and project workstreams. 

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of delivery TPMs, ensuring operational excellence to enhance the customer experience and managing delivery pipelines and lifecycles.
  • Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps for compute, storage, network capacity needs across established products and NPI. 
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to drive S&OE processes to align capacity execution with revenue targets.
  • Define, build and execute comprehensive portfolio, program, and project plans for delivery projects, ensuring timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked.
  • Identify, track, and manage critical paths and dependencies to ensure on-time program delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, dc operations, and other internal teams to drive alignment on deliverables, resource needs, and project timelines.
  • Serve as the point of contact for program-level updates, ensuring clear, concise, and consistent communication with stakeholders and technical program managers.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and escalate issues as needed to ensure resolution.
  • Monitor program and project progress using key metrics and provide actionable insights through regular reports and dashboards.
  • Follow established frameworks, templates, and processes to maintain consistency across all datacenter projects.
  • Provide feedback to refine project management templates and tools, driving efficiency in future project executions.
  • Facilitate clear and concise communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and understanding of project progress and challenges.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9+ years of experience in technical project management or a similar role managing highly visible, complex projects
  • Experience building, coaching and managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior success in creating and streamlining delivery processes and developing cross-disciplinary collaboration between engineering, operations, support, sales and product groups
  • Strong process knowledge and ability to drive process automation through systems and analytics
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to cloud services, data center, networking and various types of server technology would be beneficial 
  • Strong bias to action in a fast paced environment
  • Strong familiarity with project management principles, critical path analysis, and dependency management
  • The agility to navigate and excel in a fast-evolving landscape, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to shifting priorities and demands
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira or similar platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey multi-faceted plans and technical information in a clear and concise manner 
  • Expertise with Cloud infrastructure, virtual machines and hypervisors, networking, and infrastructure

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale datacenter bring-up projects
  • Familiarity with infrastructure or hardware deployment processes
  • Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or similar

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,000-$185,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
