Sitting within the Business Marketing team, your role as Senior Manager, Business Segment Marketing will be responsible for leading marketing programs that support Commercial Bank, Regional Business and Industry team. This role is for someone passionate about business-to-business marketing and has a good understanding of corporate Australia.

Reporting to our Chapter Lead, Segment Marketing (Commercial Bank, Regional Business and Industry) you’ll drive and execute integrated marketing programs that are aligned to our marketing strategies and business objectives.
This is an exciting role where you can make real business impact as you develop a thorough and intimate understanding of our commercial and regional business customers, work collaboratively with stakeholders and leverage our agency partners to deliver world class marketing initiatives that increase the vibrancy of the CommBank brand.
On any given week, you will:

Manage projects to bring the best of marketing to the business and deliver programs with executional excellence.

Work with business stakeholders and Executive Manager to develop and implement a strong Marketing Strategy to support acquisition, relationship depth and retention across one or more division.

Build Client Value Propositions and Thought Leadership campaigns that drive engagement with a sophisticated and relationship managed client set.

Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities to deliver Account-based marketing or programs that enhance the experience for our clients and build relationship - through marketing and creative expertise – for either new to bank or delivery of more needs met.

Work collaboratively and seamlessly with the Brand, Content, Product Marketing and Events team to integrate these key specialist areas into all plans.

Work with the business, data, client analytics and business intelligence & research to identify opportunities and deliver programs that will help drive brand consideration, NPS and customer satisfaction as well as build the pipeline.

Influence and manage the usage of the Customer Engagement Engine and/or Salesforce to enhance the customer experience.

Build internal communications channel and sales enablement programs that help uplift Relationship Managers capability and help them engage with their clients through marketing insights, content & events.

Build and manage project plans and working groups to ensure the delivery of programs of work to deadline and the highest quality.

Build robust reporting of all campaigns and activity to demonstrate marketing contribution back to the business.

Effectively build relationships with senior stakeholders.

Champion the customer in all non-marketing related communications programs.

Strong contributor to the building of a high performing positive team culture.

Adopt and drive a sound risk culture within the team.

Management of creative agencies/business partners to deliver requirements.

Manage expenditures to agreed budget.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:

Significant B2B marketing experience within financial services (highly preferred)

Proven success in leading and mentoring a high performing team.

A solid understanding of corporate business dynamics, regional business, C-Suite networks and corporate sponsorships.

Developed strong client value propositions that work across multiple channels.

Experience in account-based marketing, client planning, or sales enablement.

Background in running relationship management marketing programs with quantifiable financial outcomes.

Experience in Client Segmentation analysis and drawing insight from analysis.

Experience in understanding and interpreting market research, data and insights to meet objectives, and using these to drive outcomes in a marketing context.

Previous experience working within a matrix organisation, with multiple stakeholders in differing divisions.

Successfully partnered with creative agencies, external partnerships and relationship management/executive teams.

Ability to think strategically and execute superior outcomes under tight deadlines.

Strict end to end budget control and proven experience in ongoing productivity.

Proven project management skills and ability to build project plans to deliver to timing and objectives.
