Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Analytics Leadership: Develop and manage advanced financial models for pricing, rate plans, and device subsidies, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to meet targeted financial objectives
- Scenario Planning: Lead scenario planning efforts in partnership with the Pricing Strategy and other analytics teams, forecasting outcomes and assessing strategic pricing options
- Data Analytics Enhancement: Build and refine data analytics frameworks to support pricing strategy and device subsidy program formulation, enhancing analytical rigor and output across the organization
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison among finance, marketing, supply chain, and sales teams to align device subsidy strategies and rate plan analytics with overall business goals
- KPI and Reporting Efficiency: Design and implement efficient processes for presenting KPIs that track how the business is meeting its budgetary and financial goals
- Demand Planning Coordination: Coordinate with Pricing and Demand Planning teams to ensure that device subsidy models reflect promotional strategies and demand projections.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to inform and refine pricing strategies, ensuring competitive positioning in the market
- Profitability and Subsidy Impact Analysis: Responsible for understanding device profitability, promotion profitability, and overall subsidy impact as tied to sales targets; adapt pricing strategies to meet subsidy budget targets and sales goals.
- Reporting: Responsible for delivering comprehensive reports on pricing analytics, market insights, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on pricing and rate plan analytics, fostering an environment that encourages innovation, efficiency, and high performance
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics, financial management, or a related field, with a strong preference for background in the telecom or technology sector
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in financial and data analytics, including the development of complex financial models and data visualization
- Strong experience in designing and implementing analytics processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and familiarity with analytics tools like Tableau or similar
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to conduct detailed analysis without losing sight of overarching strategic objectives
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
