About your role :

The role holder will work directly with the Business Head and Chair of the Management Board of the FFB Investment Platform with focus on wider business support. Fidelity’s FFB business consists of our D2C Personal Investing business including our digital advice offering Fidelity Wealth Expert and our B2B2C Advisory business, where we partner with independent financial advisers. With over 300 staff located in Germany and India, the FFB business looks after over 650,000 clients and over €40bn in client assets.  We have the ambition to grow both businesses with a superior client-oriented and market-leading proposition that will enable end-investors achieve financial wellness as they plan for retirement.

Supporting the Head of FFB in running the day-to-day business this is a prominent and exposed role with an array of business management responsibilities including the organisation of management meetings and creation of timely management information. The role holder will also be involved in the strategy development process of FFB as well as various strategic initiatives across the FFB business and will lead initiatives in cross-functional teams ; this also includes driving the communication and people agenda for the business.

Job Description:

  • Work with the business head to support the effective day-to-day running of the FFB business. This includes the setting and tracking of strategic priorities and initiatives to drive the strategic agenda and business goals as well as following up to ensure successful delivery.
  • Organisation of management meetings, most importantly the FFB Executive Committee meetings including agenda setting, minuting and action tracking
  • Creation of timely management information and reporting working closely with colleagues across the business
  • Ensure KPI tracking for steering purposes
  • Support the coordination of the wider FFB strategy development process and annual strategy review
  • Support and coordinate the annual goal setting process in close collaboration with the FFB Senior Leadership Team
  • Support the people agenda for the FFB business by ensuring we implement global Fidelity initiatives and lead on  local initiatives with regard to Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Management and Organisational Development
  • Drive the internal communication agenda including the organisation of formal and informal formats
  • Conduct competitor analyses
  • Close collaboration with Oversight functions to ensure we meet regulatory requirements and manage risk appropriately

About you :

  • Experience in the financial services industry with a focus on asset and wealth management preferably gained in a broader business management, sales / sales support, product development role or management consulting or alternatively in a high-growth company
  • Adept at strategy frameworks and preparing senior management presentations
  • Analytical skills with end-to-end conceptual thinking and project delivery excellence based on project management frameworks
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders and navigating a global organisation to build confidence and get buy-in
  • Able to take the customer perspective and strong communication skills
  • Collaborative, proactive and outcome-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build a network in a global organisation through self-driven initiative
  • Fluent in English and an international mindset; German language skills are beneficial but not required
