This position will continue to develop improved messaging and new ways to engage with key decision-makers at CROs and Biopharmaceutical companies, both large and small. They will build and cultivate relationships and will be actively sourcing and calling on new accounts and scheduling face-to-face meetings for our Business Development and Strategic Relationships, contributing to the growth of the territories and pipeline.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of inside sales/account development experience with DCT provider or CRO
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Very organized and able to manage competing priorities
- Must be familiar with maintaining and managing a customer relationship database
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate persistence
- Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent from an accredited institution required or equivalent experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREA OF ACCOUNTABILITY
- Collaborate with Business Development, Strategic Relationships and Marketing to:
- Research aligned clients and contacts, by type, title, role and therapeutic focus
- to initiate contact for the purpose of introducing solutions and
- schedule introductory meetings/TCs with new contacts
- Serve as a dedicated client/contact research and outreach resource whose only purpose is to generate leads to warm the market and get BD engagement
- Assist in creating Account Development activity and opportunity entry and reporting metrics
- Accurately maintain and manage CRM (Dynamics or Sales Force) database with all sales activity
- Work with Sales Opps to generate Account Development Reports distributed weekly:
- New Client meetings
- RFPs
- Research accounts and contacts to identify new opportunities for PCM
- Provide weekly updates to the business development team on activity and conversations with clients
- Generate client interest for potential webinars, industry conferences/meetings, etc
- Participate in the ongoing review of PCMs business development procedures to ensure consistency on an international basis.
- Review of metrics on a weekly or monthly basis to assess productivity.
- Attend internal business development calls and meetings to discuss new opportunities and the overall sales pipeline.
- Work with the business development team to prepare for client meetings.
- Develop a sales methodology and strategy for increasing new account penetration.
- Learn messaging around PCM differentiators and be able to effectively communicate them to clients.
- All other duties as assigned.
The typical base pay range for this role is USD $89,300 - $134,300 per year.
Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
