Job Description:
The EVP of Sales leads the Strategic, Enterprise, Government, Commercial and Pre-Sales organizations as they work towards their revenue targets. They are responsible for expanding our footprint at existing with our growing portfolio of products as well as landing new logos across all segments. They identify, qualify, negotiate and close deals to hit ambitious quarterly and annual targets. They build and execute strategies for growth of our business and career development for your team.

What you’ll do:

Formulate and implement a strategic sales strategy, processes and reporting/analytics to improve and measure performance and efficiency

Live and breathe our values to guide your decisions and interactions with both internal and external customers

Build strong relationships internally particularly within the broader sales and Revenue functions

Partner closely with all key business stakeholders (Strategy, Marketing, Product, Success, Content, etc.) to create possibilities in all you do

Have a deep understanding of industry trends, product capabilities and customer requirements to drive business performance

Implement a comprehensive revenue strategy focused on new logo acquisition, partnerships, account expansion, and retention.

Encourage and motivate sales team members to drive value with our customers and achieve our business results.
Experience you’ll bring:

History of hitting/exceeding targets, penetrating new markets and building growing sales teams

Proven experience leading organizations through periods of transformation and successfully driving a business into a growth phase.

Experience with growing business to >$250M
-
Strong enterprise, SaaS, and PaaS technical sales experience with tangible metrics of success

Experience managing a pipeline and closing large contracts

Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills both with customers and within Pluralsight
-
Proven strategic negotiation and closing skills with a successful track record of navigating with all stakeholders within large complex organizations and at Pluralsight
-
You are able to think in scenarios and multiple steps ahead and observe and mitigate risks early

Takes an active interest in increasing customer value and satisfaction and deepening customer relationships
Requirements:

15+ years of Sales Leadership experience at a high-growth company
-
Excellent business operations skills, including forecasting, pipeline management, and recruiting
-
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Excellent judgment and decision-making skills

Critical and analytical problem solver as well as creative problem-solving skills
-
Strong network of talent at all levels (Sales professionals, C-Level execs)
-
A deep understanding of industry trends, product capabilities and customer requirements to drive business performance
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual base salary + variable for this role is $535,400 - $594,900 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
