Senior Logistics SpecialistJOB SUMMARY
The Senior Logistics Specialist will support the overall logistics goals of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection fleet. The role will develop initiatives and processes to optimize and enhance the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Supply Chain.
This includes but is not limited to close collaboration with the Director of Supply Chain to maximize the efficiency of the supply chain performance operationally and financially.

Essential Functions
- Assist Cruise Marine and Hotel Operations by coordinating and monitoring the supply chain to comply with demands and continuously drive efficiencies in performance.
- Planning and tracking, including costs and timelines, according to fleet needs.
- Tracking the Logistics budget to ensure monthly goals are met. Tracks, records, and reports the costs of all shipments and FOBs.
- Assist in the preparation of fiscal year budgets and support the Director of Global Logistics to create business reports that provide insight into key data points.
- KPI Reporting to the Director of Global Logistics on warehousing, consolidation, MLS, budget, etc.
- Communicates with freight forwarders, port agents, and suppliers to achieve Logistics operational and budget goals; develops solid relationships with our service providers.
- Assist the Director of Global Logistics in the preparation of RFQs and bids for Logistics providers.
- Facilitates cross-divisional coordination of deliveries. Work with over-the-road, ocean, and air freight capacity to ensure compliance with the delivery deadlines and budget goals.
- Keeps track of inventory on all warehouses of the fleet managing inventory databases.
- Assists with the Newbuild and Dry Dock logistics warehousing management and shipments as needed.
- Coordinates, tracks, and reports on all Landing Goods of the fleet.
- Identify opportunities that reduce cost, optimize our logistic flow, reduce storage and handling cost, increase reliability, and reduce lead times.
- Worldwide top-class knowledge of the market trends and main players in Logistics.
- Develop RFQs and RFIs and work with necessary vendors to fully define and develop costs for alternatives using TCO methodologies.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in Logistics, ideally cruise ship Logistics
- Understanding of warehousing and transportation management
- Knowledge of European and US customs requirements for shipments
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Financial acumen is a must
- Computer-savvy with special emphasis on database applications. Proficiency in Excel is a must, including knowledge of pivot tables
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Expertise in Marine and Hotel operations and/or purchasing with a focus on Logistics and Supply Chain
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain operations in maritime environment
- Ability in Change Management Process
- Strong negotiation skills and resilience in a changing, international environment
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- BSc/BA degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a relevant field is preferred

Designed to combine the luxury lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton® and the casual freedom of a yachting vacation, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will offer voyages on three custom-built yachts. Calling on unique and distinguished destinations alike, most voyages range from seven to ten nights, offering many overnight calls and uniquely curated experiences ashore. Each yacht will feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace, and accommodate up to 298 guests in a relaxed, casually elegant atmosphere. As with The Ritz-Carlton® on land, each yacht will feature personalized service, elevated dining and luxury amenities. The yachts are also available for private charter.
