What you will be doing:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
- Provide legal guidance on compliance, finance, sales, and security matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Ensure GDPR compliance and collaborate on the creation and implementation of privacy policies and procedures.
- Offer expert advice on technology law, intellectual property, and software licensing to support SaaS and cloud initiatives.
- Develop scalable legal risk management processes and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships across departments to drive alignment.
- Interpret company policies and provide strategic, actionable legal advice aligned with business goals.
What you'll bring:
- Qualified lawyer in Germany (member of the Rechtsanwaltskammer) with Zweites Staatsexamen or a comparable qualification obtained abroad.
- Expertise in GDPR, data protection, and regulatory frameworks with strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Several years of legal experience, with a preference to take on significant responsibility.
- Business acumen, with the capacity to understand complex legal challenges in the context of the company's objectives.
- Emotional and mental flexibility, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- A proactive approach, exhibiting a sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and outcomes.
- Proficiency in German, English and Dutch is preferred.
