Overview
The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their market families, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, customers and product management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Customers, and Product Management to understand demand drivers and new product additions/transitions
- Understand new product introductions to simulate and develop demand plans ensuring proper alignment with sales team
- Analyze and understand data to quickly recognize changes in sales trends to drive a proactive response in SRAM's supply chain
- Prepare and present reports for monthly demand reviews with management
- Use SAP IBP as the primary forecasting tool including maintenance of Demand Planning master data
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in Demand Planning and/or S&OP
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Statistics required
- Continuous improvement mindset and approach to understanding demand and process
- Experience in consumer goods industry and inventory management a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience working in SAP and advanced skill set with MS Excel is a must
- Strong interpersonal skills
