Job SummaryMountain America is looking for a Senior Learning Experience Designer with expertise in instructional design, end-to-end project management, and content creation for a variety of audiences and modalities. This position will work closely with designers, facilitators, LMS admins, and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional learning solutions that will impact all levels of the credit union.

SCHEDULE

- Creates engaging learning activities across multimedia platforms, including e-learning, instructor-led materials, print and digital resources, and video.
- Consults with stakeholders, subject-matter experts, facilitators, and leadership regarding learning methodology, instructional design principles, and learning data to inform new design.
- Contributes new and innovative ideas to improve collaboration, work product, and deliver greater impact on the business.
- Collaborates to develop clear and measurable objectives and metrics, and tie learning to business outcomes for target audiences.
- Oversee and manage instructional design projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks, adherence to deadlines, and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Creates exercises and activities (audio, video, animations, simulations, presentations, role plays, games etc.) that enhance the learning process
- Determines appropriate learning effectiveness metrics and design solutions that allow us to collect those metrics
- Maintains project documentation, assets, auditing criteria, compliance regulations, and intellectual property guidelines for internal and third-party resources
- Effectively socialize and communicate the experience vision to key stakeholders throughout the organization through strong storytelling and alignment with business strategy
- Ensures that curriculum and learning material meets federal, state and local regulations.
- Collects feedback on sessions from subject matter experts and attendees to continually improve content and presentation.
- Partners with Program Managers to evaluate learning effectiveness metrics and learner feedback to improve program’s effectiveness and the learner experience
- Coordinates with outside consultants and training providers, as needed.
- Follows company policies, procedures, and guidelines while carrying out the responsibilities of position.
- Attends team meetings and company training sessions as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience
- 5 years of experience in the field of instructional design or curriculum development.
- Demonstrated experience with eLearning development, curriculum design, and training methodologies
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Project management experience preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a closely related field and/or 2 additional years combined work experience In instructional design.

Computer Skills
- Proficiency in e-learning tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate to create interactive, SCORM-compliant, web-based training deliverables
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly InDesign
- Proficiency in the use of computer equipment and software, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience with building and maintaining courseware and participant databases
- Knowledge of graphic design
- Knowledge of mobile learning best practices
- Experience creating, editing, synchronizing and/or recording both audio and video for web-based learning
Language Skills
- Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas, methodology, results and recommendations verbally, in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations
- Strong verbal communication and presentations skills
- Demonstrated ability to document outcomes and present information in a manner appropriate for key stakeholders and all levels of the organization.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory, Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model, Bloom’s Taxonomy
- Knowledge of ADDIE/SAM content development models
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio/video
- A strong digital portfolio is a must.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, specifically in collaborating and leading out with internal and external teams
- Data analytics in the learning field
