ROLE TITLE: Senior Lead Technical Project Manager
DEPARTMENT: Operations
ROLE PURPOSE
Senior Lead Technical Project Manager owns the technical and operational relationship with payments issuers like Digital Wallets, Banking Schemes, Mobile Carriers and leads the technical scoping and integration of their payment solutions into Boku Payments platform. You will work with these external partners to assess their technical capabilities for a host of Boku products and manage the technical integration projects with limited resources and tight timelines. You will be a leader playing a significant role in aligning different cross functional
team, resolving conflicts and coming up with solutions, providing guidance to subordinates and taking complete ownership of the delivery

RESPONSIBILITIES
Senior Lead Technical Project Manager responsibilities will be as listed below
- Develops goals and plans, prioritizes, organizes, and manages tasks and resources to bring about successful completion of a specific project.
- Demonstrates resourcefulness, can innovate as needed an, and adapts effectively to change.
- Must manage relationships with various stakeholders (technical & non-technical) to ensure the teams are working towards a common goal.
- Ensure final deliverables meet quality standards with minimum issues and delays.
- Implement improvements in collaboration with team to ensure quality improvements.
- Uses influencing skills to obtain positive outcomes and agreement with two or more parties who have different aims, intentions or goals, settles differences with minimum noise.
- Utilizes a systematic process of discovering the root causes of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions through data gathering an analysis, and assessing impact, risk and likelihood of errors
- Demonstrates ability to work with customers and solve their problems but in a way that benefits everyone.
- Expert in Risk Management process and the ability to identify and assess risks, identify solutions to mitigate or eliminate risks.
- Willingness to coach others and provides guidance, positive and constructive feedback in a supportive manner to help others strengthen knowledge and skills needed to accomplish tasks, solve problems and perform effectively
- Act as internal escalation contact for technical requests from merchants and payment issuers
- Effectively address project change requests and expectation while reducing scope creep
- Organize and facilitate regular project scrum to track project tasks and dependency
- Drive technical issues to resolution with urgency and focus, and serve as an escalation point
- Ability to review technical details with the help of Engineering to analyse and troubleshoot issues
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Timely Delivery of projects: The project is expected to be delivered as per time committed to Merchants
- Process Improvements: Identifying process gaps and introducing process improvements as and when required
- Identification of Closure of Gaps: Any gaps in the solution against merchant requirement should be identified and closed in agreement with merchant within the
project delivery timeline. - Be Customer Focused: Ensure equity management services meet the needs of internal stakeholders and employees.
- Operate as One: Foster collaboration across departments for a unified approach to equity management.
- Know the Impact: Understand and communicate the business and employee experience impact of the equity management transition.
- Unleash Ingenuity: Identify innovative solutions to optimize both outsourced and in-house equity management processes
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- 15-20 years of technical project management or technical pre-sale experience in a technical capacity required, preferably within payments industry
- Leadership skill and experience in leading a team of Project Managers
- Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in system integration in payments domain
- Critical thinking skills to analyse problems, find solutions, and make decisions
- Work Experience in integration of merchants / PSP with Payment Issuer is preferred
- Experience integrating with third party web services across a variety of technologies (e.g. REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Excellent SQL skills
- You have a successful track record in delivering integration projects from concept to launch.
- You have a high degree of technical competency in software development practices, project management, and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs.
- You are skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with partners and payment issuers.
- You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills in order to gather insights from data to identify underlying issues.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, Scrum/Agile development environment with ability to multi-task and respond flexibly to change.
- You deal well with ambiguity and changing deadlines while keeping focused on delivering results.
- You are a strong and effective project leader who can prioritize well and communicate effectively.
- You are comfortable getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done.
- You are an experienced self-starter with a problem-solving focus, an analytical mindset, and extreme attention to detail.
- Proficient in written and spoken English in a business setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation or higher degree in Technology / Engineering (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional from PMI (Preferred)
- Scrum Master Certification (Preferred)
