Senior Lead Engineer - Testing (Automation/Selenium, scripting)

Global Transfer Agency Services is a group of highly talented and motivated individuals who strive for providing best products for Mutual Fund Transfer Agents. Team at Pune location is focused working on US, Canada and International TA systems.

What you will be doing 

This position is for Senior Lead Engineer – Testing for Global Transfer Agency Services team. You would be working on complex financial product development in Mutual Fund Transfer Agency. You would be required to do communication with business stake holders, technical / product engineering teams, and senior management. You would be working in highly quality & client focused environment.

• Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
• Execute functional as well as regression tests.
• Work on automation on various products with the team whenever needed.

• Extensive testing experience in multi-tenant enterprise applications both hosted and client environments.
• Define test approach for the products. Finding scope for automation for various products with or without inhouse tool.
• Design, plan, execute, monitor, improve automation testing process for a testing engagement.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Extensive scripting experience in a broad range of programming languages.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills, software development experience, deep understanding of formal QA tools, methodology/processes.
• Good if has experience on performance tools like JMeter etc.

What you bring: 

• QA professional with 5 - 10 years software industry and management experience
• Experience in selecting, designing, and implementing test automation frameworks. Experience developing in-house automation tools
• Strong hand-on experience using Selenium Web Driver with Java
• Strong experience in designing and building automated test frameworks for web using Java
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with specific experience and demonstrable success with the full software development lifecycle; and using the Agile Development processes
• Experience developing and testing entire systems, with capability to understand details mixed technologies.
• Proactive, result driven approach and be able to work with business side stakeholders.
• Hands on automation test development experience with at least 1 scripting / coding language-Java, Python, C#, Javascript, etc
• Experience using source control (GIT, SVN) and  Jira and Zephyr Scale test management tool.
• Experience preparing test cases and test plans with an automation mentality.
• Experience using CI tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, AzureDevops)

• Willing to travel occasionally (no more than 10%)

• Must learn and maintain knowledge of software components as necessary to support application builds and deployments and maintaining production environments.
