We are seeking a Senior Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • The selected candidate will work on a team that is sustaining enhancing an Enterprise Records Management Service. The service is vital for storage, search, auditing, and reporting enterprise information. 
  • Seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in Java development for critical undertakings encompassing software enhancements and endeavors to accelerate data ingestion.  
  • The candidate will support application sustainment and enhancements per requirements, proactively identify and correct potential issues before outages occur, and implement required code enhancements. 
  • The candidate will build out code infrastructure (tools, utilities, programs, supporting libraries, and frameworks) for mission operations such as ingesting data, modifying configuration files, and XML  files.
  • The candidate will maintain system reporting and monitoring scripts, identify gaps and implement new scripts.
  • The candidate will maintain existing software, asses current level of quality, analyze and profile for performance issues, make design and architecture recommendations to address quality issues, participate in peer reviews and incorporate any feedback, plan, implement and release.
  • The candidate will set up Windows or Linux development environments in container-based deployment tools such as Docker.
  • Engage with the customer throughout the development process, elicit requirements, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely delivery of the solution. 
  • The position will require working in a fast-paced team in an agile environment and a willingness to take on challenges to creatively solve customer requirement problem sets.

Required: 

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • A bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Sixteen (16) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. 
  • Experience configuring Mavenized Java Projects and ANT Scripting
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented concepts and design patterns
  • Experience with concurrency, threading, and parallelism as it relates to executing software 
  • Understanding of the SDLC processes
  • Experience with writing unit tests
  • Strong systems and software troubleshooting skills and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience with a Java development
  • Experience with Oracle 
  • Experience with Windows and Linux System Administration 

Desired: 

  • AWS experience 
  • SQL development experience
  • Experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience working with the Atlassian Tool Suite
  • Experience with domain driven design
  • Experience with wireframing tools – Visio, PowerPoint, Draw.io   
  • Experience with or desire to learn CI/CD tools (integration and configuration)
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and processes
  • Experience writing SQL and queries
  • JEE Web Development 

The estimated salary range for this position is between $200,000-$265,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
